Job description

Do you have working knowledge of Ultrasonic Transducers, Electro-Acoustics and/or Piezoelectric sensors? Do you want to work within the Renewable Energy Industry? An innovative Transducer Research Engineer with expertise in Ultrasonic Transducer design will join the Research team of an exciting technology company in the sustainability sector.


You'll undertake research and experimental testing of the electrical, acoustic and mechanical systems relating to ultrasonic sensor technology.


Applications are sought from Research Physicists & Instrumentation Engineers who hold a minimum of a Masters Degree in Acoustics, Physics or Instrumentation, ideally supported by a PhD with content relating to Ultrasonic Transducer technology.


Responsibilities:
  1. Proven experience in Ultrasonic Transducer design.
  2. Piezoelectric component level design.
  3. Commercial FEA modelling skills.
  4. Multiphysics.
  5. Sensor technology.
  6. Electro-acoustics.
