B. Braun Medical Ltd. is seeking an experienced nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care at patients' homes across London and surrounding areas, working autonomously within the Clinical Homecare Nursing team.

The role focuses on Parenteral Nutrition and IV therapies in collaboration with NHS colleagues. The successful candidate will be an experienced RN with NMC registration, capable of managing IV therapies, providing patient education, and travelling to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (adult).
• At least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Competent in management and delivery of IV Therapies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed IV therapies and related care at patients' homes.
• Provide training to patients/carers for PN connections, disconnections and device use.
• Teach patients/carers to operate infusion devices for independence.
• Support phlebotomy/cannulation services as needed.

Your Role

Our Clinical Homecare Nursing team provides individualised quality nursing care to patients requiring Parenteral Nutrition and other IV therapies in the comfort of their own homes, working in partnership with NHS colleagues.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced nurse to work autonomously while delivering high-quality clinical care outside of a hospital setting.

Key Details

Location: Working with trusts and patients in London and the surrounding areas.

Working hours: Monday to Sunday, 40 hours over 4 days per week on a rolling rota. Shifts are split to accommodate patient needs, typically around 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening with a midday break. Average 40 hours per week.

Salary: £36319 per annum.

Your main responsibilities

• To administer prescribed IV therapies and associated care and support to patients who are unable to be trained to independence.
• To provide training and education to support patients/carers in the connection and disconnection of Parenteral Nutrition and any other prescribed therapies to independence.
• To provide training and education to support patients/carers to use infusion devices to deliver their therapy/therapies independently.
• To support the provision of a phlebotomy/cannulation service for patients.

What you need to succeed

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (adult).
• Current clinical experience minimum of at least 1 year.
• Competent in the management and delivery of IV Therapies.
• Excellent communication skills, time management skills and the ability to work well against strict timescales.
• The ability to make correct clinical decisions in a clinical emergency situation.
• Flexibility to travel and visit patients outside local area.
• Current valid driving licence.
