Job summary

Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants is seeking a Transactions Tax Advisory Manager to join our growing specialist team in the UK. You will develop a genuine transactions tax specialism, handling advisory work across the full deal lifecycle and collaborating with our wider tax practice.

You’ll work with owner-managed businesses, corporates, investors and shareholders, taking ownership of projects and guiding colleagues through complex assignments while driving growth of the Tax proposition.

Qualifications

• ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience of transactions tax, corporate tax advisory, restructuring or related project work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to clients.
• Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Willingness to coach more junior team members and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality technical tax advisory for acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and succession planning.
• Support tax due diligence and identify key risks, opportunities and value drivers.
• Advise on transaction structuring, pre-sale planning and post-transaction implementation.
• Assist with reorganisations, group reconstructions and shareholder transactions.
• Collaborate with clients, lawyers and corporate finance advisers across deal lifecycle.
• Project manage complex advisory assignments and ensure commercially-led outcomes.
• Work with Tax, Transaction Services and Corporate Finance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Coach and develop junior team members and contribute to business growth.
