Role Definition

Optio’s Transactional Liability team are specialists in W&I insurance for the small to mid-market. We are looking for an experienced M&A professional to join our growing team based in London. As a member of the transactional liability team, you will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will very hands on and you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of your work from an early stage. As part of the role you will be expected to:

• Evaluate, quote and underwrite risks from submission through to inception, in accordance with underwriting guidelines and practices
• Proactively nurture and build relationships with brokers, advisors and clients
• Actively contribute to the team’s underwriting, growth and business development strategies
• Contribute to the continual development of Optio’s W&I insurance product

You will be joining a lean team of three and so opportunities for responsibility, development and growth are considerable.

Education and Qualifications
