Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who are searching for a new Transactional Finance Team Leader to join their team in Leeds City Centre on a permanent basis. My client is looking for either a progressive or experienced candidate to take their next step in their finance career, and support in providing management to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. My client is well known for providing top quality training and a supportive working environment that focuses on collaboration and commitment.

Description
  • Lead and manage the transactional finance team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements for internal use.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise workflow.
Profile
  • Have either gained previous experience in a similar Transaction Finance Team Leader position
  • Or, have a strong transactional finance background and are ready to progress into leadership
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
