Sharp Consultancy are supporting a highly reputable engineering business based in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Transactional Finance Supervisor on an ongoing temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation that prides itself on innovation and operational excellence. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the transactional finance function, ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting a small team across the transactional finance function.

• Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely processing.

• Managing bank reconciliations across the team and ensuring a high level of accuracy and supporting Treasury activities.

• Supporting process improvements and ensuring compliance with financial controls.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory or team leader role within a finance function.

• Strong working knowledge of AP, AR, Treasury and reconciliations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
