We have an exciting opportunity to join Alzheimer Scotland as a Transactional Finance Manager. This is a new role due to growth in Alzheimer Scotland's finance team and income.

Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland's national dementia charity. Our aim is to ensure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers, and families. We also campaign for the rights of people with dementia, support vital dementia research, and promote positive brain health.

This role will oversee our day-to-day financial transactions across all areas. The transactions are varied and high volume. The successful candidate will coordinate, plan, and develop these alongside the finance team.

The role includes line management and supervisory responsibilities for a team of finance assistants, supporting their development and management.

We are seeking applications from individuals with at least 4 years of experience in a transactional finance role within a complex organization, along with management and supervisory experience. The candidate should possess the skills necessary to handle the tasks outlined in the job description.

You should have significant exposure to the full finance function, be a strong communicator, and capable of balancing competing priorities. Ensuring routine workload, ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting are completed to a high standard within deadlines is essential.
