Transactional Finance Manager

Our high growth client in the tech/SAAS industry are looking for a new Transactional Finance Manager to join their finance team. Reporting into the CFO, this role will manage and develop the AP and AR teams to ensure they meet their required standards.

Key responsibilities

1. Management and development of the transactional finance function including AP & AR teams, providing them with objectives, KPI targets, guidance and general workload management
2. Provide training and coaching for AP & AR teams
3. Manage relationships with internal billings teams and customer account managers
4. Maintain AP and AR ledgers, ensuring they are efficiently reconciled with supplier statements on a regular basis
5. Develop and implement reporting and KPI's for cash management
6. General accounting tasks including P&L and BS reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month end and year end reporting, as well as assisting with audit procedures.
7. Manage intercompany invoicing processes
8. Manage relationship with banks, being first point of contact for any queries
9. Additional ad hoc requirements and duties to support the wider finance function

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Transactional Finance Manager or similar role, with a positive personality and tenacity. Strong experience with transactional finance including AP and AR functions, as well as experience with treasury and general accounting will be needed. Strong communication and personality skills will be important as this will be managing a team and liaising with key stakeholders. Systems experience will also be required. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience supporting a business through rapid expansion.
