I am very excited to be recruiting a brand new Transactional Finance Manager role with a growing organisation based in Guildford. The successful candidate will have extremely strong line management and process implementation experience.

Job Description

1. Oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensuring that financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
2. Support the team leads in generating and presenting comprehensive management reports on key performance indicators, project statuses, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
3. Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, external audits, and regulatory requirements.
4. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Drive continuous improvement in financial operations through technology and best practices.
6. Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and procedures across operational relocation accounting functions.
7. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
8. Communicate deadlines to team members.
9. Conduct team meetings and one-on-ones to update on best practices and continuing expectations.
10. Generate and share comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines to the team.
11. Conduct appraisals in line with policy and deadlines.
