Job Description:

Warner Scott is partnered with a leading Accountancy practice that is expanding its Transaction Services team in Bristol. After a successful year in 2024, the firm plans to grow its presence in Bristol over the next 12 months. The role offers opportunities in business development and to play a key part in the growth of the function.

The successful candidate will work directly with the Partner leading the team, an experienced ex-big 4 professional in Financial Due Diligence, who is committed to coaching and developing team members for career progression.

• Oversee larger client engagements, define project scope, allocate resources, monitor budgets and timelines, review junior work, and resolve issues before final review.
• Conduct detailed analyses in Excel and prepare reports and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Manage daily operations of the project team, including mentoring junior staff.
• Deliver comprehensive reports with clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Assist senior leadership in expanding services and developing new client offerings.
• Build and maintain client relationships, address risk management, and handle inquiries.
• Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team and across departments.
• Gather client feedback and communicate it effectively to the project team.
• Identify new business opportunities and support their conversion into revenue, including participation in client pitches.
• Represent the firm in marketing activities and stay informed about its services.
• Contribute to recruitment, retention, motivation, and professional development of the team, serving as a role model.
