Job summary

BDO UK is seeking a Director for the Transaction Services team within Corporate Finance. You will guide the development of existing and new service streams, leveraging deep financial due diligence experience for buyers, PE firms and vendors.

You will lead client engagements, mentor teams and shape value-led outcomes across strategy and operations on high-profile deals.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent) or relevant work experience.
• Significant experience in a corporate finance department.
• Proven track record of business development / winning in the market.
• Previous management experience.
• Strong MS Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• For Capital Markets transactions, knowledge of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of existing and new Transaction Services practices.
• Utilize your knowledge in financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or vendors and reporting accountants’ work.
• Drive business development to grow market share and client base.

As a Director in our Transaction Services team, you will be a key contributor to the development and growth of the service line within Corporate Finance. You will use your knowledge and experience in the field of financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers and vendors and / or reporting accountant’s work to lead the development of existing and new service stream practices.

Skills

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or overseas equivalent), or relevant work experience.

• Proven track record of successful business development / winning in the market
• Previous management experience.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
• For those involved in Capital Markets transactions a thorough knowledge of the relevant legislation.
