Team Overview

The Regulatory Operations (Reg Ops) group is a centralized unit within O&T responsible for overseeing daily compliance for regulatory reporting, including exception management and risk mitigation for the EMEA Region.

The team reviews, acts upon, and oversees daily regulatory reporting and exception management, providing governance to safeguard Citi and its clients' reporting obligations. Reg Ops collaborates with Compliance, Business, Technology, and Operations to interpret, investigate, remediate regulatory issues, and track risks through metrics analysis, trending, oversight, and escalation.

What you’ll do
  • Assist in implementing, monitoring, and testing the firm’s submission data and exceptions/rejections to develop controls ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory reports.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review, design, and improve key metrics and KPIs relevant to various regulations; support reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Monitor regulatory processes within Belfast’s Reporting team and support the identification and remediation of control failures, including analysis, UAT, and remediation tasks.
  • Collaborate with Operations Regulatory Control, Technology, and business stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and proactive exception management.
  • Liaise extensively with internal customers, including Business Units, IT, other Reg Ops areas, and Compliance, fostering partnerships with open feedback.
What we’ll need from you
  • Experience compiling large data volumes and analyzing results.
  • Experience working within a control environment.
  • Experience with Regulatory reporting, Risk, and Control (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proactive attitude, initiative, and good organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with clients, team, and management.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to research and resolve complex issues.
