Role Description:

An exciting opportunity to join the Transaction Reporting Control Group, working in the Enhanced Quality Assurance Function. The Enhanced Quality Assurance team forms a significant part of TRCG, with 70 associates based in London, Chester, Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The role is primarily focused on validating the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the transaction reporting submissions across multiple regulatory regimes (e.g. Dodd Frank, EMIR, MIFID/MIFIR, SFTR etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • You will analyse regulatory communications and updates to understand the day-to-day impact on transaction reporting.
  • You will work with subject matter expertise to understand and concisely document requirements focusing on the practical application of regulatory text as it pertains to the Bank's trading activity.
  • You will identify process and system changes and timelines required to implement regulatory changes.
  • You will manage stakeholders across Front Office, Technology, Compliance, and Transaction Reporting Operations teams to ensure regulatory reporting deliverables are implemented accurately and follow internal best practices.
  • You will support teams in the QA, testing, and delivery of change, including the remediation of issues identified.
  • You will deal with any escalation in a timely manner, with the ability to communicate up to C-suite stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have demonstrable evidence of stakeholder management across all levels, including senior management.
  • You will have the ability to handle diverse workloads and tight schedules, prioritising work when appropriate.
  • You will have previous experience analysing large data sets, ideally with Excel or Power query.
  • You will possess an analytical mindset, being able to translate complex issues into practical plans.

Skills that will help (optional):

  • Previous experience in financial services or investment banking would be an advantage but isn’t a necessity.
  • Strong working knowledge of one or more of the key global transaction reporting jurisdictions would be a plus (EMIR, MIFID/MIFIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank, ASIC, MAS, HKTR, and JFSA).
