About the Compliance Team

Our Compliance Team ensures that Binance remains fully aligned with global regulatory standards. From enforcing anti-money laundering (AML) protocols to upholding transaction transparency and user protection, this team plays a critical role in maintaining our reputation with users, regulators, and institutions.

The Transaction Monitoring Investigations Global Lead will oversee all global on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring operations. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role focused on scaling compliance functions, enhancing investigative processes, and safeguarding Binance’s integrity across jurisdictions.

• Lead and manage global transaction monitoring teams, ensuring daily operational efficiency and compliance with SLAs.
• Oversee operations in multiple jurisdictions, providing expert guidance to business leaders and MLROs.
• Coach and develop team members across global regions to build a high-performance compliance culture.
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, delivering briefings and updates on compliance matters.
• Own and execute cross-functional initiatives to improve monitoring systems and reduce risk exposure.
• Continuously evaluate team productivity and support data-driven decision-making with performance metrics.
• Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen compliance controls and investigations.
• Monitor global AML regulations and typologies; ensure policies and tools remain up to date.
• Leverage investigative tools including Chainalysis, Elliptic, case management, and MIS reporting systems.
• Contribute to compliance audits, issue tracking, and regulatory reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in compliance, with 5+ years leading global transaction monitoring teams
• Proven expertise in AML regulations, criminal risk typologies, and compliance leadership
• Experience with crypto on-chain monitoring strongly preferred
• Proficient in communicating complex compliance issues to cross-functional audiences
• Comfortable with compliance tech systems (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, case management tools)
