WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will report directly to the Transaction Monitoring Product Owner and work alongside colleagues across the Financial Crime Centre of Excellence (FC CoE) teams and Santander UK.

You will be responsible for maintaining TM data model management, scenario testing, and calibration, liaising with the BAU TM Oversight team.

  • Design, manage, and maintain strategic TM data models, defining model requirements for projects related to Transaction Monitoring.
  • Update model documentation and manage the approval process.
  • Lead model updates and maintenance, ensuring updates operate correctly and producing evidence of proper functioning.
  • Manage TM Calibration methodology, identify necessary changes, and oversee periodic calibration exercises, reviewing analytical outputs and impact assessments.
  • Review and improve end-to-end controls, including data flow, data quality, and technology, designing controls and MI.
  • Review and validate UAT test cases for new releases, liaising with testing teams.

What you will bring.

  • Extensive experience in TM data model design, management, calibration, and testing, with knowledge of TM data/ATL-BTL analysis.
  • Experience in delivering Financial Crime transformation projects or risk and data controls.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Industry-recognized Financial Crime Qualification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CISI).
  • Understanding of financial crime analytics, risk & controls, and Line 2 model management teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to translate business needs between TM, Analytics, and Tech teams under pressure.

This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Bradford, or Sheffield.
