Job description

Due to the continuing success of Waylands, we are looking for a Transaction Manager to join the team at our Volvo dealership in Filton, Bristol.

The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator with first-class presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and Automotive Showroom experience in a similar position. You will have a complete understanding of what it takes to successfully assist the sales team in constructing and closing deals profitably, with a major emphasis on Customer Satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate is someone already in a similar role. However, we would consider someone who is an experienced Senior Sales Executive looking to progress.

What’s the Role?

This role involves sitting with customers, making recommendations on and selling finance, insurance products, and additional products, while working within FCA regulations and company guidelines. You will need to be FCA accredited or willing to become accredited.

You will develop successful working relationships while working closely with the General Sales Manager, Sales team, and other departments to facilitate the swift delivery of our customers’ vehicles.

What Does a Typical Day Involve?
  • Matching customers’ needs to relevant finance sources.
  • Maximising the sales department’s performance through effective lead management and reporting.
  • Constructing offers and assisting in closing sales through face-to-face interactions and ongoing coaching of the Sales team.
  • Promoting accurate and efficient order processing and timely vehicle deliveries.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager in achieving registration targets and vehicle sales, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Deputising for the Sales Manager as needed.
