Overview

Responsibilities

1. Provide application technical support in complex situations and collaborate with development teams on project coordination.
2. Monitor real-time transactional data from payment applications for exceptions.
3. Manage incidents and problems related to production environments.
4. Lead troubleshooting during outages and communicate updates to management.
5. Work cross-functionally with engineers, business users, and product managers to develop effective solutions.
6. Manage change windows for product releases and maintenance.
7. Support 24/7 rotational shifts, including weekend on-call support.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 7+ years of experience in production application support.
3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
5. Experience with Tech SLA management and incident resolution.
6. Knowledge of AWS services like IAM, EC2, ECS, RDS, MSK, VPC, and tools like Terraform.
7. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.

Preferred

1. AWS Certification - Associate level.
2. Experience with ISO 20022 and SWIFT standards.
3. Experience with US domestic and international payment rails.
