Job Description

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team provides a broad range of advisory services to clients, primarily in a deals environment, including financial due diligence (FDD), tax due diligence, and Strategy & Commercial Advisory (SCA).

As a member of the FDD team, you will provide financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You may also work on public company transactions, primarily on AIM Market operated by the London Stock Exchange.

Role Overview

An Assistant Manager in TAS is involved in all aspects of FDD engagements, including client discussions, target meetings, liaising with the team, preparing analysis and reports, and client procedures. Specifically, you will:

  • Prepare analysis and findings for client deliverables to support decision-making
  • Collaborate on technical aspects of transactions
  • Interpret and analyze complex information, identifying business issues
  • Present conclusions and recommendations to clients and discuss implications
  • Proactively improve your performance and contribute to the team
  • Support risk management and business development efforts
Candidate Requirements

The minimum criteria include a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification deal experience. Additional desired skills include:

  • Experience in Audit or advisory services
  • Application of commercial judgment
  • Ability to work successfully within a team
