Job summary

Grant Thornton (NI) LLP is seeking an Assistant Manager to support financial due diligence across live engagements, collaborating with managers and directors to prepare analysis, identify issues, and ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-paced advisory environment.

The role focuses on executing due diligence for corporate, private equity and lender clients, developing reports, and contributing to team development and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in transaction services.
• Strong numerical, analytical and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work across multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements for corporate, private equity and lender clients across a range of sectors.
• Prepare analysis on earnings, working capital, cash flow, net debt and other transaction-related financial matters.
• Assist in identifying key deal issues, risks and value drivers through detailed financial review and interaction with management teams.
• Support the preparation of due diligence reports, client deliverables and presentation materials to a high standard.
• Work closely with senior team members and clients to deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines; and
• Contribute positively to team development, collaboration and broader business development activity where appropriate.
