Job summary

Haleon in London is seeking an Analyst to support Group Technical Accounting & Advisory in acquisitions, divestments, integrations, and complex transactions. Day‑1 reporting, IFRS compliance and robust documentation form core duties.

You will work with senior GTAA colleagues, prepare analyses and schedules, and help maintain audit-ready records with SOX governance across the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Essential Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified and actively progressing towards qualification.
• Good understanding of IFRS and an interest in developing deeper technical accounting and transaction experience.
• Experience in audit, accounting advisory, financial reporting, controllership or transaction support.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial information and perform reconciliations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and ability to meet deadlines in a project-based environment.
• Awareness of SOX controls and audit evidence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support GTAA finance workstreams for major transactions from pre-deal through sign-to-close and post-close stabilisation.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of transaction reporting requirements, timetables, controls and documentation.
• Prepare analyses, accounting entries and schedules for acquisition accounting and IFRS 3/IFRS 5 matters under review by seniors.
• Help prepare transaction-specific Group reporting instructions, presentations and training materials for finance stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs across Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury, Consolidation and other functions.
• Summarise deal documentation and assess potential accounting, reporting and control implications for senior review.
