To promote and deliver the EMEA region people Strategy. Operating as the HR and Payroll expert to support UK based employees by providing quality solutions and development across the Commercial HVAC and UK region. This role will be based in Basingstoke.

Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Function as a strategic HR business partner to the commercial leaders of the Country to develop and execute critical business and organisational strategies.
  • Be a credible coach and confidante to leaders, as well as a strong employee advocate.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and advice on matters related to talent, organisational change, human capital, employee engagement etc.
  • Sets operational strategy for multiple areas (e.g., payroll, administration, recruitment)
  • Support monthly UK payroll for circa 400 FTE which is outsourced.
  • Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organisational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.
  • Provide guidance to leadership on talent management/development and succession planning to ensure the right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on change management to positively impact organisational effectiveness.
  • Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Diverse and Inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Partners to share best practices, critical needs issues, and business initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on organisational development related matters, including organisational analysis, strategy, structure, and key processes to support organisational/business needs.
  • Coach and advise on appropriate total rewards strategies, programs, and tools to enhance organisational performance and employee engagement.
  • Accountable for the oversight of payroll queries and creating and maintaining standard operating procedures.

  • Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering.
  • advanced level of knowledge of payroll and processes
  • Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and organisational development experience.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
  • Able to drive and right to work in the UK
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organisation required.
  • Experienced in working in an international, multicultural environment, passionate about diversity & inclusion
  • Pro-active, conscientious, and highly collaborative
  • Ability to analyse HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.
  • Strong ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment law, HR best practice, policies, and procedures.

Scope:

Offices in Basingstoke, Bolton, Cumbernauld (Scotland), and Ireland (Dublin)

Headcount 2024: 185 UK and 33 Ireland for HR Partnering

Headcount 2024: 402 UK for Payroll using an outsourced model.
