Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Tramper Driver to join its transport team in the Milton Keynes area. The role involves planned routes on a Sunday-Thursday cycle, with overnight stays away from home and no manual handling. A full UK HGV licence and at least 3 months of tramping experience are required.

The position is permanent, full-time, with overtime opportunities and a consistent pattern. The successful candidate will follow scheduled routes, receive weekly plans, and comply with drivers'

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months' tramping experience.
• Full UK HGV licence and relevant qualifications.
• Experience with overnight tramping and working away from home.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Methodical, professional approach to work.
• Understanding of drivers' hours and working-time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Route provided on Thursday for the following week.
• Tramping work with overnight stays away from home.
• Information on where to park and sleep during the week.
• No manual handling required.
• Complete routes safely and efficiently.

• Carry out vehicle and trailer checks as required.

Tramper Driver

£45,000 + Overtime

Hours

Full Time - 5 shifts per week - Sunday to Thursday Evening / Friday Morning

This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity to work for a market leading company, offering a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and a consistent working pattern.

As a Tramper Driver, you'll be a core part of the transport team, completing planned routes throughout the week and working exclusively with Amazon drop-and-swap trailers, with no manual handling required.

Responsibilities

• 5 shifts per week, starting on Sunday and finishing on Thursday evening or Friday morning, depending on the Sunday start time


• Full route plan provided for the week


• Route provided on Thursday for the following week's work
