Edinburgh College is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Training Technician in Science, specifically Chemistry and Physics.
As part of the curriculum team, your role will be to support with programme delivery and to maintain our laboratory facilities. We are looking for a motivated professional with a background in Chemistry or Physics who can help ensure students gain the confidence and competence they need to succeed in their studies and careers. You will be responsible for organising, maintaining and further developing laboratory areas, supporting Health and Safety procedures and carrying out other relevant duties as required.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work independently, and committed to contributing to a positive team culture, while keeping our learning environments safe, organised and fully equipped. Additionally, they should hold a qualification at SCQF Level 7 or higher in Chemistry or Physics and possess both knowledge and practical experience of the Science curriculum.
