Salary & Benefits -
We offer a salary from £37,433 - £46,791 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Bradford – due to the nature of the role you are often based on site, on occasions there is hybrid working, when this is the case, we would still look for 3 days in the office.
Work type: This is a fixed term position for 12 x months, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.

Where you fit in:
As our Training Team Leader, you will:
• Manage a team of 8 x learning specialists and ensure they provide an excellent service to sustain and improve the everyday performance of colleagues– through the provision of role specific training and inductions.
• You will ensure Performance Excellence ways of working is embedded within the team.
• Build relationships across Yorkshire Water to ensure the provision of technical learning and development expertise is always fit for purpose to ensure the Customer Management Centre has a skilled workforce.
• You will be responsible for transitional support from training to operation in role, to ensure consistency and quality of service.
• Align processes and manage the relationship with the HR talent team to maintain compliance and ensure governance and consistency across Yorkshire Water Learning & Development
• You will keep updated with changes and innovations in the field of learning, development, and coaching.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Leadership skills, experience in successfully leading and managing people.
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of full Learning and development lifecycle (Training needs analysis, Design, Development, Delivery, Evaluation).
• Passionate about Customer Service and able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of what great customer service means and how to take others on the journey to achieve this.
• Ability to develop and use insight to challenge and progress improving processes or removing blockages that impact customer experience.
• Previous experience of leading training, development, and coaching
• Ability to build business case for change and to measure and monitor cost to serve.
• A natural problem solver who seeks innovative customer focused solutions to complex problems.
• Experienced in developing and implementing high impact, innovative talent development strategies.
It would also be beneficial if you had the following –
• Knowledge of quality management systems.
• Previous experience of on-boarding processes.
• CIPD qualification, preferably learning and development focused.
• Experience of managing the design, delivery and evaluation of on-line learning products as part of a blended approach to learning delivery, including understanding and experience of e-learning content development using relevant authoring tools and management and maintenance of products
