Job Title:Training Standards Coordinator (Defence)

Location:Clyde,Faslane

Salary:£42,000 - £52,000(Depending on skills, qualifications and experience)

Type:Full time, Permanent

Duties:
Our client is looking to appoint a Training Standards Controller, who will have the overall responsibility of overseeing training quality; internal validation, and compliance in line with defence and industry standards.
  • Carry out internal evaluations to measure training success, highlight any gaps, and confirm the accuracy and consistency of assessment materials.
  • Undertake the role of Defence Training Supervisor, and guide the qualification, coaching and development of all training staff.
  • Collaborate with the Training Design Lead, to perform regular reviews of course materials in-line with the Astute Class Training Service contract.
  • Lead internal audits to ensure training adheres to the ACTS Quality Management System and industry standards (e.g. BR8420, JSP822, ISO 9001) and continuously monitor and manage improvement action plans.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, to support ongoing training improvements.
Essential Criteria:
  • Must have experience of working within a similar Military training management, or technical training delivery role.
  • A sound understanding of training quality systems and assurance frameworks.
  • Must hold a familiarity with DSAT, or similar.
  • Experience within internal validation and audits.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders.
