IMPACT Community Services Limited (IMPACT) is a high profile, community owned organisation supporting the most vulnerable and marginalised members of our community. Our Training Services team is a leading provider of Certificate III training courses with a long history. With industry qualified and experienced staff, we bring current real-world skills directly to the classroom. Our unique offering is a blended approach of combining face-to-face theory with hands-on, on-site practical activities. We also organise vocational placements for our students and are proud of the success rate for our graduates gaining employment in their chosen field.

About the Training Services Manager

This is a newly created role and on a day-to-day basis, you will :

  • Oversee the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) programs
  • Lead, supervise and coach staff
  • Manage the operations and staffing of the team to ensure consistency with legislation and quality standards
  • Identify and implement opportunities to create new business from accredited and non-accredited training
  • Manage the RTO Scope of registration and compliance with Australian Skills Quality Authority standards

About you

To enjoy this role, you will have :

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Recent experience in learning and development, with a track record in instructional design and e-learning
  • Strong planning, communication and leadership skills
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management System platforms
  • Track record in leading teams within the training sector
