A leading health service organization in Manchester is seeking a Training Programme Director for Trainees Requiring Extra Support. The successful candidate will support recruitment strategy, enhance training experiences, and collaborate with educators. This role is crucial in improving support for trainees and optimizing healthcare workforce development. The position may conclude on 31 October 2026, with potential for extension.
The Training Programme Director for Trainees Requiring Extra Support (TRES) will support the Head of School in Strategic Development of the School of Surgery.
The post holder will lead on the development of the School’s Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.
The post holder will be a member of the School Board.
As a result of NHS England's integration into the Department of Health and Social Care, the end date for all new educator secondments/posts will be 31 October 2026. The successful applicant will be updated regarding potential extensions beyond this date.
