Job summary

A national health board is seeking a Training Programme Director to manage specialty training programmes for doctors. This fixed-term position offers 2 PAs (8 hours per week) and supports hybrid working across the UK. Ideal candidates will be Consultants with experience in training programme management. Job description

Hours: 2PA (8 hours per week)

Duration: Fixed Term for 36 months

This will be across 2 PA of time (1PA = 4 hours)

The Training Programme Director will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding the following appointments: specialty registrar (StR); and locum appointments for training (LATs).

The TPD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or appropriate Associate Dean. They may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.
