A leading public services provider in London is seeking a Training Officer for its Prisoner Escorting and Custody Services contract. You will develop, deliver, and evaluate training solutions while providing guidance to line managers. The ideal candidate has strong organisational and communication skills, holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, and a Full UK Driving Licence. This full-time role offers a salary of £36,176.03 and benefits such as a pension scheme and company car.

Here at Serco, we deliver a critical contribution to the Criminal Justice System by providing all court custody and escorting services across four regions and seven areas of England. To ensure we provide the best level of training across the contract we have a highly motivated and dedicated team of training officers, and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join this team as a Training Officer. The role will be part of the Prisoner Escorting and Custody Services (PECS) contract, operating across various sites and locations. Responsible for assisting in the development, creation, and delivery of comprehensive training solutions in accordance with and in support of all statutory, MOJ, company and department requirements.
This will include supporting with Initial Training Courses and mandatory refreshers, to drive standards within the operation. You will also provide advice and guidance to line managers on training and development matters as well as conducting training sessions to engage and inspire the audience, helping to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce to fulfil the needs of contractual requirements.
