Job Overview

You will be the nominated post holder for UK AOC. The main responsibility as the Training Manager is to drive the improvement of standards and harmonization of crew training across the UK AOC. You will be responsible for the Training Department and report hierarchically to the Flight Operations Manager, while being responsible to the Accountable Manager.

You will be the nominated post holder for UK AOC. The main responsibility as the Training Manager is to drive the improvement of standards and harmonization of crew training across the UK AOC. You will be responsible for the Training Department and report hierarchically to the Flight Operations Manager, while being responsible to the Accountable Manager.

Responsibilities & Areas
  1. Training Standards
    • Monitor training standards of NHV’s UK AOC operations in different environmental and legislative settings.
  2. Nominated Person Crew Member Training UK AOC (NP CMT)
    • Accountable for the Training department and team members within UK bases.
    • Attend management meetings.
    • Contribute to the annual budget alongside the Flight Operations Manager.
    • Ensure all flight crew training complies with Operations Manuals and standards, maintaining the highest flight safety levels.
    • Ensure training personnel are adequately trained for their duties.
    • Establish and monitor standards and piloting techniques expected during flight operations and recurrent checks.
    • Define training standards and oversee the publication and acceptance of the Operations Manual Part D by the UK CAA.
    • Monitor flight crew training standards and ensure compliance with regulations and operator standards.
    • Ensure the use of approved training devices and facilities.
    • Maintain traceable training records as required by UK CAA and the Operations Manual.
    • Liaise with the CAA on training-related matters.
    • Act as a contact point for bases abroad regarding training.
    • Address and analyze complaints related to the training program.
    • Ensure subcontractors meet defined standards.
    • Ensure compliance with UK AIR OPS requirements.
    • Be available for immediate communication regarding ERP elements.
Experience
  • Holder of an ATPL (H).
  • Extensive experience in offshore helicopter operations.
  • Current TRE/TRI on H175, AW139, or AW169 (desirable).
  • Proven supervisory and management experience.
Skills
  • ICT literate (aviation software & MS Office, Rusada Envision or similar).
  • English language proficiency.
  • Deep knowledge of operational, quality, and safety procedures & processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
