A unique opportunity has arisen for a learning and development specialist in the GB Retail business unit within the Corporate Risk & Broking segment of the WTW business.

We are looking for an individual to develop colleagues at all levels so we continue to build a high performing, fair and inclusive culture, where all colleagues can fulfil their potential.

As a learning and development (L&D) specialist, you will develop insights from internal and external research to identify knowledge and skill gaps, develop and deliver meaningful development interventions through a variety of mediums, and evaluate their effectiveness.

By joining the GB Retail team, you will become part of our professional, high-performing, and client-focused team, reporting into our Client Service leadership (GB Retail), with opportunities for flexible/hybrid working and the ability to work across multiple business areas.

The role

  1. Design and deliver various learning development interventions, including (but not limited to): Technical Insurance, Risk Management, Risk, Management Development, Professional and Personal Skills, Change, using a variety of methods (blended, classroom, remote, and 1:1 settings).
  2. Delivering to a wide range of WTW GB colleagues, external partners, and Corporate Risk and Broking - Medium to large clients.
  3. Support the GB Retail management team in developing an effective and cutting-edge learning and development programme.
  4. Facilitate team and individual development using valid and reliable tools, including Webex and On24.
  5. Consult with stakeholders at all levels to identify needs, and where applicable, develop and deploy relevant and effective solutions.
  6. Be an internal L&D expert to advise and inform stakeholders of wider trends in talent, development, and learning, and to continuously improve offerings.
  7. Work with the wider L&D, HR, and talent teams across WTW as appropriate.
