Job summary

Frankland Automation in Coventry is seeking an experienced robotics engineer to join its technical training team. The role focuses on delivering practical and classroom robotics training to employees, customers and partners, with strong hands-on programming and commissioning skills.

You will teach robot operation, programming, commissioning, optimisation and maintenance, prepare training equipment and materials, and coach customers in safe working practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience with industrial robots.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• HNC/HND, degree or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 plus company profit share scheme, typically equivalent to one month’s salary and benefits

Contract: Permanent, full-time

A globally leading robotics and factory automation manufacturer is looking for an experienced robotics engineer to join its technical training team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone from industry with at least 4 years of hands‑on experience working with industrial robots. Previous training experience is helpful but not essential—we’re looking for strong technical knowledge, confidence and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

The role includes:

• Teaching robot operation, programming, commissioning, optimisation and maintenance
• Preparing training equipment and developing course materials
• Coaching customers and employees in safe working practices
• Supporting customer visits, exhibitions and industry events
