A leading Subsea Equipment operator is seeking a Training Programme Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will shape and deliver training programmes for subsea operations, ensuring safety, performance, and innovation. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in training delivery in subsea or marine technology, and technical knowledge of ROVs and trenching systems. Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programmes for complex subsea systems such as ROVs and subsea trenching systems.
  • Act as the bridge between OEMs, training providers, and our in-house experts to create engaging, accurate, and compliant training content.
  • Translate complex technical documentation into clear, practical learning materials.
  • Ensure all training aligns with industry standards, HSE regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, gathering feedback and driving improvements.
  • Stay ahead of subsea technology advancements to keep our programmes cutting-edge.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in training delivery/management ideally within subsea, offshore, or marine technology.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ROVs, trenching systems, and related control/electrical/hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical details into effective training.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, certification processes, and offshore operations.
  • Ideally degree-qualified (engineering/marine tech) or HNC with relevant experience.
  • Training qualifications or mentoring experience a strong plus.
