Executive Search Researcher at VHR Executive

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to design, manage, and deliver training programs ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulatory requirements, including EASA, UK CAA, and MAA. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to advance human scientific discovery through artificial intelligence by fostering a highly skilled and compliant workforce.

Role Overview

The Training Manager will lead the development and implementation of training programs to meet regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring our team is equipped to support cutting-edge aviation and AI projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the Part 145 Maintenance Training Program, ensuring compliance with EASA, UK CAA, MAA, and other aviation regulations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support training and development activities for staff involved in aviation and AI-related projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and implement effective training strategies.
  • Design and deliver engaging training materials, continuously improving delivery methods.
  • Ensure training activities align with the organization’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and monitor training KPIs, presenting results to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction programs, arranging necessary training and approvals for new hires.
  • Provide insights to leadership on training needs based on operational processes and organizational changes.
  • Create and maintain training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and educational resources.
  • Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate training records.
  • Evaluate training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate with external training providers to deliver technical and professional courses.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part 145 and Part 147 training requirements, including MOE compliance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training programs in aviation, engineering, or production environments.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in a military or aerospace manufacturing setting.
  • Understanding of aviation, manufacturing, and production processes.
  • Proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Proactive approach to training in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development to meet business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Training & Certifications

  • Train-the-Trainer Certification.
  • Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) Certification.
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS) & Audit Training.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) SC security clearance.
