Role: Training Manager - Permanent - Antrim

Job Overview

are proudly supporting a well-established manufacturing business, in the appointment of a Training Manager. This is a key role that will support the company in achieving its strategic goals by ensuring training needs are effectively assessed and a high standard of training is delivered to staff, aligned with the requirements set out by management.

Key Details:

  • Salary: Highly competitive - depending on experience
  • Full time, Permanent
  • 4 day week!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training support across all departments and locations, ensuring consistent delivery and standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal training sessions and development programmes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and Health & Safety teams to assess and address training requirements.
  • Develop tailored training plans in partnership with department managers, including regular reviews to track progress.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure all employee training documentation is up to date.
  • Create and deliver instructional materials, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and induction content.
  • Monitor training compliance, including certification expiry alerts, to ensure regulatory and operational standards are met.
  • Coordinate with external providers to source supplementary training opportunities as needed.

Essential:

  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems to develop training trackers, maintain records, and generate reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in conducting training needs analyses and developing targeted training solutions.
  • Capable of delivering technical training while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
