About the Role- Education and Training Facilitator
We're looking for a Education and Training Facilitator to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of development programmes for training staff across the business. You'll be working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, supporting both teaching and assessment excellence and driving continuous improvement. You will also play a part in delivering recognised qualifications such as AET, CET, CAVA, and IQA, while supporting a culture of high performance through mentoring, training, and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
Training and Development
Support teams across the business with L&D advice and programme delivery
Deliver internal and accredited training (including AET, CET, CAVA, and IQA)
Design and facilitate learning across technical, leadership, and behavioural areas
Coach and mentor new and existing trainers to support development
Promote and use digital and blended learning solutions
Conduct training needs analyses and capability gap reviews
Evaluate training effectiveness and feed into the wider quality process
Help develop and implement competency frameworks
Quality Assurance
Support with self-assessment and quality assurance activities
Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement processes
Help ensure consistency in assessment and programme delivery
Stakeholder Engagement
Work collaboratively with colleagues, delivery teams, and external partners
Provide input to Ofsted readiness and Awarding Organisation compliance
Operational and Compliance
Maintain accurate training records using systems like NetD, CollegeIP, and others
Adhere to company and client policies around H&S, safeguarding, EDI, and quality
Contribute to wider cross-functional quality improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
Level 4 (or ideally Level 5) Teaching qualification
Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA)
Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
Health & Safety Level 2- Desirable
Level 3 Coaching & Mentoring
Essential Experience
Strong background in training/education quality
Familiarity with the Education Inspection Framework
Experience working in commercial or work-based learning settings
Confident using digital platforms and delivering blended learning
Desirable
Understanding of DSAT and JSP822
Previous experience in defence or resilience training
