Job description

On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Training Delivery Manager (Inside IR35) for an 8-month contract based in London (1-3 days per week).

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a central government department dedicated to protecting our country and ensuring its security and independence, as well as supporting its values and interests abroad.

The MOD is one of Europe's largest public procurement organizations and the UK's largest customer for industry, managing approximately £20 billion annually on capital investments in equipment and infrastructure. Over the next decade, it plans to spend over £190 billion on equipment and support. Its customers include armed forces and security agencies, with requirements spanning military vehicles, education, nuclear submarines, and facilities management.

The MOD aims to equip its armed forces with the best capabilities to safeguard UK security and promote national interests now and in the future.

With an annual budget of nearly £53 billion and a workforce of 197,000 (including 54,000 civilians), the MOD offers impactful roles across the UK, supporting teams in HR, healthcare, corporate services, and more.

As a Training Delivery Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering core training modules and providing assessment feedback.
  2. Reviewing and refining training content and schedules.
  3. Promoting continuous improvement and mentoring.
  4. Ensuring new joiners utilize resources like the RFI log and understand DARR processes.
  5. Line managing one EO, providing guidance aligned with HEO responsibilities.
  6. Supporting the integration of new joiners into DARR through structured training.

  • Active SC security clearance

Note: This role is UK-only and cannot be performed overseas.
