CONTRACT: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

SALARY: NJC Pay scale point 2-9 £24,413.00 - £27,254.00 FTE, actual salary £13,096.76 - £14,620.86

CONTRACT TYPE: 22.5 hours per week, Term-time only plus 1 week directed holiday cover

HOURS OF WORK: To be discussed at interview

CLOSING DATE: Wednesday 15th October 2025

INTERVIEW DATE: Tuesday 3rd November 2025

START DATE: Monday 8th December 2025

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Training Coordinator for a maternity cover contract, to work closely with the Head of Learning and Development. This is a vital role supporting the delivery of high-quality training across a growing, multi-service charitable organisation dedicated to improving the lives and life chances of children, young people, and their families.

As Training Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external training enquiries. You’ll use data and insight to plan and coordinate training programmes and Learning & Development days, ensuring smooth organisation and delivery.

You’ll also manage the Foundation’s training diary, liaise with external training providers, and produce regular reports for the Head of Learning and Development on training uptake, compliance, costs, and outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting learning and development in a purpose-driven organisation making a real impact.

Responsibilities

Qualifications and Skills
  • Administrative or coordinator experience, ideally within Learning and Development (L&D) or training environments.
  • Experience of managing training schedules or diaries, including booking venues, sending invites and coordinating attendance.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask simultaneously.
