An established industry player is seeking a Training Coordinator to join their Human Resources division. This role involves providing logistical support for training events, ensuring a seamless learner experience, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Training Coordinator (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Division – Human Resources
Salary – National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £28,800 to £43,100 and London £31,600 to £47,400 per annum (Salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

This role sits within our Organisational Capability team. The team work with ExCo and leadership teams to develop capability to meet evolving needs and deliver our priorities. We also partner with the business to identify and deliver training and professional development. Tools such as our employee survey provide insights to help inform our effectiveness and our priorities.
This role plays a key part in enabling learning at the FCA. You’ll provide high-quality logistical support and coordination for FCA Academy training events, both virtual and in-person. This includes scheduling training, coordinating with suppliers and trainers, organising resources and ensuring smooth delivery of sessions. This is a varied role that combines coordination, technical systems and customer service. You’ll be supported to develop your expertise and encouraged to contribute ideas for improving how we work.
What will you be doing?
Planning and coordinating training logistics, including scheduling, preparation of resources and ensuring training sessions are set up and ready to go
Managing and responding to enquiries received via the training mailbox and being responsive and supportive to all stakeholders, colleagues and external providers
Overseeing course and delegate waitlists and handling cancellations in accordance with agreed service levels and utilisation targets
Acting as key point of contact for the Learning Management System (LMS), providing support with testing, issue resolution, feedback and identifying potential improvements

Minimum
Proven experience in a similar training coordination role in a customer-focused or service environment
Strong experience in administrative tasks and organisational management, with proven expertise in planning and coordinating activities or events effectively
Confident and experienced in using IT systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Be a supportive team player who contributes positively and engages in effective communication
Capable of independently managing your workload, taking initiative and navigating challenges with practical solutions
Able to prioritise work and escalate issues appropriately, offering possible solutions where relevant
