Qualifications

Circet UK are currently recruiting for an experienced Training Coordinator to join our team in Livingston.

This role will provide support to the business and the wider team in order to ensure that the Training Processes are achieved in an effective and efficient manner across the Group.

Responsibilities as Training Coordinator include:
  • Build and maintain the training calendar; coordinate dates, venues, trainers, and resources for induction, mandatory H&S, technical, and refresher modules
  • Liaise with line managers to identify training cohorts; produce delegate lists and joining instructions; manage accommodation and travel where require
  • Prepare learner packs, badges, and certificates; ensure training materials are current and aligned to awarding?body standards.
  • Provide occasional delivery support for classroom or toolbox sessions (as needed).
  • Maintain accurate learner records in the HRIS/LMS and skills?audit trackers; ensure timely data entry and updates.
  • Use the Employee Skills Matrix template to track role?based competencies and review progress with managers.
  • Collate training evaluations; generate periodic reports on attendance, completion, costs, and outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Book external training; manage trainer relationships and third?party providers; monitor quality of delivery and learner feedback.
  • Act as coordination point across Operations, HSEQ, and HR to integrate training needs into project plans and compliance schedules.
  • Support new?starter onboarding and induction scheduling; ensure prerequisite checks and mandatory modules are completed.
  • Uphold Health & Safety and Data Protection policies in all training activity and record?keeping.
Experience and knowledge required:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Construction / Civil Engineering environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, predominantly MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
