Job Title: Training Consultant - Creative Specialist

Salary: £47,615 - £52,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: Peterborough

About IPSD

Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L Cat and Perkins engines that power over 5000 applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to support the development and delivery of training modules and courses tailored for dealers, distributors, and customer-facing employees. In this role, you’ll bring training to life through compelling video production and interactive learning materials.

If you have a flair for visual storytelling and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, DominKnow or equivalent training development software, we’d love to hear from you!

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and deliver training modules and programs aligned with customer service processes and organizational goals.

  • Manage 10+ concurrent training projects, including video and course development.

  • Create engaging multimedia content— photos, audio, and video—for training and communication.

  • Translate customer needs into creative concepts and contribute to strategic planning for content execution.

  • Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and effectively engage the target audience.

  • Monitor training effectiveness using performance data and ROI metrics; implement improvements as needed.

  • Maintain and update training materials to ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Evaluate new training tools and methods for future program enhancement.

Skills You Have:

Training Operations: Level Working Knowledge:

  • Documents training procedures and administration principles.

  • Describes key responsibilities and scopes of the training operations function.

  • Identifies major activities performed by training support staff.

  • Competent user of Adobe Creative Suite, DominKnow or equivalent training development software

Customer Focus: Level Basic Understanding:

  • Focuses activities on developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.

  • Review and maintain training materials to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Explains why customer satisfaction is important to successful product/service delivery.

Relationship Management: Level Basic Understanding:

  • Keeps abreast of training trends and available resources and makes recommendations on "best value" programs

  • Identifies key business relationships in own organization.

  • Explains the benefits of building business partnerships.

Effective Communications: Level Working Knowledge:

Additional Info
