The Role

As a Training Consultant you will work collaboratively with your Training Solutions colleagues across a variety of projects and clients. You will use your training expertise to provide high quality consultancy services and have the opportunity to develop your skills within our growing team. Your tasks will include one or more of the following depending on your expertise:

• Analysing training requirements and liaising with clients to understand their needs
• Authoring high-quality training proposals and reports
• Developing SAT-compliant Training Needs Analysis
• Designing training programmes and materials
• Conducting training evaluation and assurance
• Supporting the conduct of training and educational research

Skills & experience required

You will have experience of translating military and/or safety critical industry training requirements into training solutions. You will have a strong customer focus and consulting skills enabling you to work independently and in collaboration with our experienced Training Solutions team. Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following is required:

• Use of JSP 822 and TNA Standards identified by the Maritime Acquisition Training Guide (MATG) and the Defence Training Support Manuals (DTSM)
• A detailed understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology from Analysis to Evaluation
• Understanding of the Human Component of Defence Capability and impact on training
• Development of TNAs
• Conduct of Training Design
• Development of Competence Frameworks
• Client focussed with strong stakeholder management experience
• A positive and self-motivated attitude with a flexible and driven approach
• Current right to live and work in the UK
• Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check
• Willingness and ability to work from home and travel for client engagements, including overnight stays away from home around the UK when required
• A strong foundation in UK Defence, particularly in the maritime domain
• Consultancy experience
• Business winning (tenders) experience
• Experience and knowledge in the use of artificial intelligence tools
