We operate restaurants, factories, and thousands of sushi kiosks and have recently built a successful cut fruit business, Snowfruit. Combining this with the three businesses previously owned by Zensho, AFC, Sushi Circle and Sushi Take, results in annual sales of $2.5b and Ebitda in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.

Note: The role is titled Training Coach (North Region). Contract: Full Time; Salary: 35000; Contracted Hours: 40.

Are you passionate about food quality, safety, and helping others succeed? We’re looking for a Coach who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and make a real impact across our kiosks. In this hands-on role, you’ll be the trusted expert for all things fresh food — especially sushi. You’ll work closely with our partners and their teams, providing proactive guidance and practical, on-the-ground support to ensure every counter consistently delivers products that meet (and exceed) our standards. Whether you’re coaching on sushi-making skills, elevating food safety practices, or stepping in to resolve quality concerns, you’ll play a vital role in building confidence, capability, and excellence across our network. Working alongside our Operations Team, you’ll be deployed where you’re needed most, supporting kiosks to sharpen their skills and deliver the very best to our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Conducting regular kiosk assessments to maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.
  • Delivering on-site coaching and training on sushi skills, knife work, and operational best practice.
  • Supporting new teams with tailored induction and orientation for long-term success.
  • Tracking training outcomes and measuring improvements in performance.
  • Providing constructive feedback to the Head of Openings and Support.
  • Capturing insights from the field to improve training materials and best practices.
  • Collaborating with fellow Coaches and the Operations Team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Staying up to date with sushi and Asian-inspired food trends to keep our offer fresh and exciting.
  • Maintaining clear records of coaching activities and progress.

At its heart, this role is about being proactive.
