Job description

We are currently looking for a full-time Training Co-ordinator to join our team in Bayswater, Melbourne. This role offers flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home options.

Reporting directly to the National Training Manager, the primary responsibility of the Training Co-ordinator is to manage all aspects of the training programs delivered by Belgravia Academy. This includes scheduling courses, trainers, and equipment to ensure smooth program delivery, as well as maintaining a training calendar and ensuring resource availability.

The role also involves administration and customer service to ensure a seamless student administration cycle and timely updates to the student management system.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Proactively schedule short courses and qualifications across the Academy calendar, coordinating with clients, managers, and the National Training Manager.
  2. Liaise with trainers to assign appropriate trainers and ensure they have necessary resources.
  3. Ensure equipment is available for each program and report on any updates or new requirements.
  4. Coordinate with clients to prioritize schedules and facilitate training sessions.
  5. Track travel requirements for scheduling and raise travel requests as needed.
  6. Monitor enrollment numbers, adjusting programs accordingly to meet capacity or demand.
  7. Handle student and team administration, maintaining the integrity of the Student Management System.
  8. Communicate with students and clients to ensure accurate administration and that students are prepared for training, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  9. Perform other duties as directed by your manager.

Role Requirements

  • Experience with aXcelerate SMS (Desirable)
  • Experience working with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), with knowledge of RTO compliance related to enrolment and completion.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and error identification skills.
  • Proven experience scheduling training across multiple states with various trainers and programs.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, confident in engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Punctuality and adaptability to perform duties remotely or onsite.
  • Commitment to customer service, Workplace Health & Safety, and Child Safety.
