A government agency in the health sector seeks a Digital Forensics Trainer to support investigators by delivering training on the e-Discovery platform and managing training sessions. Candidates must have a degree in Digital Forensics or relevant experience and demonstrated skills in digital forensics and training. This role offers hybrid working based at the Newcastle office.
The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.
The post holder will work as part of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority Digital Forensics Unit , within the Operations Directorate, whose responsibility is to investigate allegations of fraud bribery and corruption in the NHS. The successful applicant will assist in the training of investigators using the DFU's eDiscovery review platform. The successful applicant will support DFU operations by performing technical and quality processes to maintain service efficiency and ensure maintenance of the units' accreditation.

Deliver training to both internal and external investigators on utilising the DFU's e-Discovery Platform, FTK Central, in compliance with NHSCFA procedures.
Assist investigators in the usage of the e-Discovery platform to ensure effective investigation of digital material in compliance with operational and legislative guidelines.
Deliver further training and inputs regarding digital forensic best practice, seizure of digital exhibits and development of digital forensic strategies.
Represent the NHS Counter Fraud Authority in meetings and training sessions with external agencies.
Provide advice to investigators regarding evidence acquisition and ongoing processes for identification, coding and reporting of evidence.
This role will be based at our Newcastle office and will offer hybrid office based working. Contribute to training content, ensuring guidance provided is accurate and to a very high standard.
Develop learning materials to assist investigators in applying learning to their operation of the e-Discovery Platform and handling of digital evidence.
Arrange and manage training sessions, ensuring timely running, recording delegate attendance.
Oversee assessments of delegate performance, marking responses against defined answers, raising any dispute to DFU management.
Issue certificates of training completion to delegates where the required standard of performance has been met.
Manage access of successful to the DFUs e-Discovery platform ensuring that appropriate security and access control of forensics tools, systems and evidence is maintained at all times.
