Job description
Overview

This vital role ensures that all staff are effectively onboarded, trained, and fully compliant with internal and external training requirements—empowering them to support our pupils with confidence and care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate induction from Day 1 through probation.
  • Organise school tours, IT access, Buddy system, and policy orientation.
  • Monitor progress and support line managers with probation reviews.
  • Manage Shine platform training compliance and reporting.
  • Coordinate and record external training needs with SLT.
  • Deliver in-house Safety Intervention, First Aid, and Medication training.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records and generate compliance reports.
Qualifications
  • Experience in training coordination and onboarding
  • Strong admin and organisational skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and E-learning platforms
Desirable
  • Experience in SEND or education settings
  • Familiarity with Shine or similar systems
  • CPI Instructor status or training delivery experience, GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above

Acorn Park is a school for 160 pupils, who all have a primary diagnosis of Autism. We run two curriculum pathways - Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex needs pupils are on the Semi-Formal Pathway which is highly personalised from their EHCP. On site, we also have a large Forest School and Animal Care Farm along with play facilities, a sports hall and sensory rooms. For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
