Job description

With continued ambitious growth plans for the coming years, a regional wealth manager is looking to add to their management team by appointing an Advisory Development Manager to lead and develop their Central Scotland hub.


Due to additional hires in the team, trainee advisers coming through the ranks, and existing highly experienced IFAs, they need someone to oversee, grow, and manage their team of currently over approximately 20.

This is a truly exciting time to join them as they lead the way with their service offering and market strategy. They are looking for ambitious, client-focused, dynamic, and driven professionals to shape their future plans for the coming years.



  • The role will entail coaching both on a 1:1 basis and in groups to assess best practices.

  • Carrying out role plays to reinforce skills and teachings, observing performance to recognize areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to upskill the team.

  • Training advisers, observing their performance during sales encounters, and providing feedback to regional management regarding obstacles faced.

  • Keeing up with market trends, industry changes, and regulation, with a big focus on compliance and adviser competency.

The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to make a difference, be driven, motivated, and excited to join during this growth stage. Previous experience giving financial advice, Level 4 qualified, and a background in a similar role with evidence of delivering results are essential.
