Job description

Hours: 18.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Business Support Scale points 17-21: £22,289 - £24,909 pro rata, per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the College Apprenticeships team, where we are seeking to appoint an individual who wishes to be part of a team providing an outstanding educational environment for our learners.

Successful candidates do not need prior experience of working within an education or apprenticeship setting. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to build relationships with employers, apprentices, and assessors to support apprentices in achieving their qualifications. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent IT skills, and be able to work to deadlines.

Working as part of the apprenticeship team, you will collaborate closely with trainer/assessors to manage the apprenticeship journey from onboarding to end point assessment and completion. Your responsibilities will include enrolling learners onto the programme and working with trainers/assessors and employers to create individualised training plans that meet the needs and ambitions of the apprentices, enabling them to succeed in their assessments and careers.

As an individual, you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
