Qualifications

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, professional, and versatile individual to join the Training Department based at our Liverpool depot.

Reporting to the Regional TrainingManager, you will be responsible for providing an efficient administration service to the training department.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with depots on required compliance training, attendance on courses, producing training day reminders and certification following course completion.
  • Ensuring the compliance register is maintained and is kept up to date.
  • To liaise with Volvo Training in Warwick and the THC HR Department.
  • To control training department stationery and other supplies as required.
  • To ensure the effective maintenance of the Training department files and records.
  • To control the coordination of external training courses and liaise with the relevant personnel.
  • To support with catering needs for the training department meetings and events.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role. Experience within a training administration role and/or within the commercial vehicle industry would be an advantage.
  • Confident and well organised with the ability to work well as part of a team as well as on their initiative and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literate with a good knowledge of using Microsoft Office particularly Word & Excel.
  • Have a full and current UK driving licence.
