Overview

We invite applications for the 8-month Fixed Term UKSAR Training Admin position, based at Aberdeen. Fixed Term 8-month position which supports the administration of the SAR training system for all SAR Pilot and Technical Crew.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks

Training Management System – iSAR:

  • Monitoring validity of SAR crew training and checks via iSAR;
  • Issuing reminders to SAR bases of upcoming checks where required;
  • Approving SAR crew training and checks via iSAR;
  • Onboarding of new starts;
  • Supporting iSAR queries and service desk tickets.

Training Records:

  • Preparation of SAR training record files and courseware;
  • Maintenance and retention of all SAR crew training records;
  • Maintaining paperless training records;
  • Developing iSAR academy.

Pilot / Technical Crew Training and Licensing:

  • Processing pilot licence renewals and making application to the CAA where appropriate;
  • Processing and application for pilot type ratings and validations as required;
  • Monitoring expenditure on licences and ratings and reconciling CAA invoices;
  • Booking internal and external training courses;
  • Supporting inductions and associated travel;
  • Book travel as required for cadet’s initial training courses.

Technical Crew Medical Training and Paramedic Registration:

  • Maintenance of all Technical Crew medical / paramedic records and registrations in accordance with medical governance protocols
  • Monitoring medical training expenditure

Office Management:

  • Assistance to the Training Manager and Training Staff as required;
  • Stock control for Training office supplies;
  • Producing and reconciling monthly training hours stats;
  • Approving training invoices in SAP.

Simulator:

  • Liaison with the Simulator Manager and external clients for booking of simulator slots;
  • As above for internal training.
